I love watching uninformed “talk show hosts” making fools of themselves by attempting to argue that “campus carry” is a bad idea. Please for your own sake, do some research. Go to debates that actually present BOTH sides of the argument accurately and in good taste. Then argue your point.

  2. dovespin1 says:

@antred11 whether genocide or “thirst for conquest” as you put it, do you think the dead care about the difference?

  3. antred11 says:

@dovespin1 I suspect that Alexander never woke up and said “Hmm, what am I gonna do today? … OH I KNOW!! I’ll go and erradicate an entire ethnic group, just because I don’t like them!”

Alexander was a conqueror. As far as morals are concerned, I think you’re right. He probably didn’t have any. But the people he killed were killed mostly as a result of his thirst for conquest. He never slaughtered millions of people and generally treated them in a way no living being should ever be treated.

What values are they talking ’bout when talking bout the troops? Imperialism?

  5. Augur says:

@Trixen01 It does not matter what their heritage is. If they’re Jewish, African, Chinese, Mongolian, Japanese, Australian, Scottish, Russian, English, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera, nothing changes. It’s harmless poking.
Either you can accept that this isn’t prejudice like a sane, rational person, or you can continue to live in your dream world where some heritages are immune to being poked fun at.

  6. Trixen01 says:

@Augur If anything I am being fair, it looks hypercritical for anyone to say they are against any form of prejudice then make snarky off the cuff comments about another nations heritage. Are you saying it would of been acceptable as well if they had commented about a Jewish man’s last name and play on some stereotypes, &made a mockery of them? I don’t think they would dare. I called them out for being hypercrits, and this is the 1st time I’ve ever done it. I actually like this show otherwise.

  7. Augur says:

@Trixen01 It is obvious that they are not being malicious in any way.
“The bottom line” is that you’re being irrational.

  8. Trixen01 says:

@Augur I have a sense of humor, actually even darker than you know. The difference is I can take a joke when there is no real hatred or prejudice in it and its just for laughs, but that was not how i felt it was expressed, the tone was set deliberately malicious.Yet, TYT have always stuck up for people getting picked on by public media for unfair & hateful depictions that were in bad taste. Here is my point, either everything is alright, or nothing is with comedy.Bottom line should be consistent

  9. Erh4bi says:

They aren’t allowed to bring their CCW to sporting events neither is alcohol served on State University Campuses. In order to “carry a gun on campus” the carrier would have to obtain a CCW permit. Meaning he would have to take a safety class, qualify with the firearm infront of an instructor, undergo a thorough background check, be fingerprinted, and pay the fee. As if someone who wants to bring a gun to a sporting event is going to be stopped by it being “illegal.”

  10. Augur says:

@Trixen01 It absolutely is acceptable to make fun of someone for their name. Comedy should be sacred. The day that we cannot laugh is the day we are truly lost as a species.

How lame is it that they have to use Ana’s face for the video thumbnail so they can get views.LOL

  12. ppxoon says:

First of all, this baker is form AUSTRIA, NOT GERMANY.

Secondly, just wanna let you know NOBODY pronounces German names like Ben does. Every time Ben talks about Germans he shows big, fat ignorance. I don’t mind really and mocking of names is always fun IMO, but then to go off and talk about how they are Nazis every time their is a story about Germans/Austrians is just ludicrous.

Thirdly, this baker is an idiot and I gotta know, I live in the vicinity.

  13. computerjero says:

@Trixen01 The new generation has been heavily influenced by the old and even though they are in a constant division about east and west they are a united front on foreigners and other races, namely they don’t want them.

  14. BornOfSong says:

Germans are okay, do not make fun of them. You can not force a victim to testify, do not try to justify otherwise.

I have now corrected your moral discrepancies. You may continue.

  15. Trixen01 says:

@computerjero Yeah, that seems like the right logic to go into everything, because segregation and hatred already worked so well through out history in solving differences globally =/ . Pouring Gasoline on a fire wont put it out, it will only fuel it further.Words of Ben Frank “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over & expecting different result”. It doesn’t work. You & me weren’t even alive when it happened, so why hate a new generation of Germans for nothing?

  16. Neanderthalcouzin says:

@computerjero with that money we could do a Manhattan Project for renewable energy and infrastructure. Could revolutionize civilization. But these people who want to aggressively divert huge amounts of money to the rich are basically cock suckers, and they wont be so confident when angry hoards of uneducated disenfranchised people come and take their shit.

  17. Neanderthalcouzin says:

@Trixen01 Yeah I have had lots of German friends and they’re great people. If anything should be joked about, its their strict ideas about punctuality, social rules, etc, and how direct they are sometimes. But thats pretty harmless.

  18. computerjero says:

4billion fucking dollars can be used for advancing green energy or education ffs ! What a fucked up country.

  19. computerjero says:

@Trixen01 Germans haven’t paid for their past crimes. No country ever will. Never forget !

  20. dobberdoss says:

That cake was cool! WTF is it anyone elses business what the theme of cake is or who asked for it?Get a fucking life people. THE WAR IS OVER!

  21. amapola284 says:

  23. amapola284 says:

@dovespin1 of course you deserve congratulations for your business. What you should understand is that the nation which has the force , is the most reppressive. My friend , human rights are above all and mostly no one should kill people in other countries in the name of … justice. This is for kids . Good day , thank you for the conversation and sorry for my english :P

  24. amapola284 says:

@dovespin1 So kind and moral… impressed by your manners.

  25. dovespin1 says:

@amapola284 The US does more good than bad in the world. Imagine if Hitler won, or the USSR didnt fall, I say that the US is dominant because they are successful in business. Thank you for the conversation. Take cre, and I hope you have peace in your life.
